St Saviour's vision is to 'to glorify
God, to serve one another, and to extend the kingdom
of God'. Sometimes God does not reveal His total
plan to His people. At times we don't know have all
the answers and we cannot clarify each point of our
vision. There is, however, always one thing that remains
constant and has stood the test of time - prayer.
No matter what we face or how we feel, we can always
approach our Father in prayer, knowing that He is always
listening and He will answer our prayers.
Over the past couple of years we at St Saviours have
been burdened with a desire to seek His face, and to
keep praying until the Spirit of God moves according
to His plan and purpose for Reading.
But it is important that we continue to be a people
of conviction, convinced of God's purpose for our lives,
and His church, and not to slip into a comfort zone.
So what can I do?
Start praying! We hold regular prayer meetings at St
Saviours.

If you can't think of anything to pray for, there are
plenty of online resources to get you started:
The Pray
For Me site and the Eastbourne
Prayer Centre are UK websites where people can post
prayer requests and others can respond.
Operation
World provides a prayer guide to every nation on
earth, with a specific country to pray for each day.
Can you pray for me?
Because we believe God answers prayer then we have also
included an opportunity for you to post your praise
reports for answered prayer or you can just post one
because you want to thank God for something that He
has been doing in you life.
Any prayer requests will be passed on to the church
