St Saviours Tots to Toddlers has been running for over 20 years, providing a caring Christian environment for the parents and children of the Church and local community in Reading. The toddler group is very popular in the area and is often recommended by local Health professionals.

We meet in the Church hall every Tuesday morning (term-time only) from 9.45am to 11.15am. The room is divided up into different sections. The home corner with kitchen, play food, dolls etc. Quiet corner with books. A baby area. Imaginative play area with a farm, road mat with cars or train set. A craft area with play dough, painting or sticking activity. Some ride on cars and a large area with a climbing frame, seesaws, trampoline and slides.

The session consists of free play for approximately 40 minutes where children can run wild playing on the carefully selected equipment. After free play everybody gets together for tea/coffee, biscuits for the parents and juice/water and biscuits or fruit for the children. There is more free play until 11.00am where we all get together for story/nursery rhymes and notices. We then tidy up and go home.

Each year we have a summer outing to somewhere like Beale Park and a Christmas party on the last toddler session before Christmas.

The cost of attending is 70p for one child and a further 30p for each subsequent child. To enable maximum enjoyment from each session we limit numbers and as a result normally operate a waiting list policy.
